Bighorn Wireline offers a complete line of TCP - (tubing-conveyed perforating) systems for wells of all kinds, including deviated and horizontal.

Whether in response to routine maintenance or as a response to unpredicted well conditions, allowing us to run TCP allows help to reach the needed areas. Our TCP system can accommodate a variety of gun lengths to address any well issue.

Benefits of using TCP

  • TCP permits the well operator to perforate at widely spaced intervals simultaneously on one single trip into the well, rather than having to make multiple runs on the wireline
  • TCP enables the operator to perform flow testing immediately after perforating
  • Safety tests on the well and equipment are completed several times throughout the TCP process, reporting any problems immediately

What is TCP?

Tubing-conveyed perforating (TCP) completion techniques enable perforating very long intervals in one run. In highly deviated and horizontal wells, TCP is the only means of accessing the perforating depth. TCP also facilitates running large guns and using high underbalance.
