Safety Management
Safety management is woven into the fabric of Big Horn. We work hard to continuously identify hazards and control risks.
Areas of focus:
- All Big Horn employees are actively engaged in a Behavior-based safety (BBS) and Near Miss reporting program. We empower employees to “STOP THE JOB” to halt unsafe situations.
- Big Horn uses the TapRoot root cause process for incident investigation. Our goal after any incident is to focus on learning and avoid blame. Developing effective corrective actions to stop repeat incidents is always our priority.
- Big Horn believes that standard operating procedures (SOPs) help cultivate transparent expectations and implement error preventive measures.
